Could that skin irritation or allergy be coming from a dirty washing machine?

Sanitizing your washing machine regularly offers several benefits that can ensure optimal cleaning performance and maintain the freshness of your laundry. The primary advantage is eliminating bacteria, mold, and mildew that can accumulate over time. These microorganisms thrive in the warm and moist environment of the washing machine, which can result in unpleasant odors and potential health hazards. By sanitizing your machine, you can effectively kill these germs, ensuring that your laundry comes out clean and fresh-smelling.

Regular sanitization also helps to prevent the transfer of bacteria and allergens onto your clothing. This is particularly crucial if you have family members with sensitive skin or allergies. By removing these contaminants from the washing machine, you minimize the risk of skin irritations and allergic reactions caused by residual bacteria or allergens remaining on your clothes. Moreover, by maintaining a clean washing machine, you can prolong the lifespan of your clothing as they're not constantly exposed to bacteria that may deteriorate the fabric.

In addition to these health benefits, sanitizing your washing machine can also enhance its efficiency. Over time, detergent residue, dirt, and hard water deposits can build up in the various components of the machine, hampering its performance. By sanitizing regularly, you can remove these deposits and improve the machine's water flow, ensuring that your laundry gets a more thorough and effective clean. A clean washing machine also reduces the need for costly repairs or replacements, as it helps prevent the buildup of limescale and other damaging substances that may lead to malfunctions over time.

Run through a 'quick wash' and dispense with washer mold and bacteria...

Biofilm is EVERYWHERE!

There may be no other appliance in your home that has a better chance of harboring bacteria and biofilm than your washing machine.

Think about it, this self-contained, water-tight container is regularly wet, and warmed to 90-100oF (the temperature range that microbes love) , seasoned with organic soil and closed up tight, like an incubator. Every wet component is susceptible.

It's As Simple As Running a Quick Cycle!

  1. Fill a quart glass measuring cup with warm water and drop in a 1g Envirotab tablet.
  2. Fill all cycle dispensing compartments with the prepared solution: detergent, bleach and fabric softener.
  3. Run a cycle of your washer without adding any other chemicals.
  4. When finished wipe all components with a microfiber cloth and allow machine to air dry.
